Yesterday on my Facebook page, I asked you to choose a card to reveal a future love prediction for you.

Did you choose card number 1?

Single:

If you receive an invite to a party/celebration then do be sure  go. The Universe, is conspiring to bring ‘lasting love into your life and a romantic encounter is more than likely. Watch out for someone with a  good head of blonde/reddish hair with regard to this.

If you’ve recently met someone new and wonder how it will go, a happy romance will develop.

Relationship:

If you are already attached, your partner will continue to love you, but you may find before summer is over that you find someone within your circle of acquaintances extremely attractive. Temptation? Will you give in or just continue to flirt?

Single: You will meet your life partner within 2 weeks to 2 months. This will happen quite out of the blue, when you are not actively seeking a partner. The initial ‘A’ will be important here and may start the beginning of a first name or surname.

Relationship: A choice needs to be made. Are you as happy as you should be in your relationship or do you feel the need for more interest/emotional support from your partner? There may be an outside influence on your relationship which is not helping (another person).

Single: Commitment and marriage is much closer than you imagine. Watch out for a meeting with someone new on a Tuesday evening, in a place where water is nearby – this is particularly well-starred. It’s likely this person may have a child from a previous relationship that you to will grow to love as if your own.

Relationship: You and your partner will have a stroke of good luck making your affectionate marriage/relationship more prosperous. The next seven months will be the start of this upward trend of achieving some of your dearest wishes together as a couple (this may involve a better home).

5 Ways To Boost Your Mood Instantly

Many of my clients contact me because they’ve been feeling a bit down, as if life has lost its sparkle.

So I thought I’d put together a few tips on how you can help yourself to feel more positive quickly. Even if life is tough, it’s still good for your emotional health to try to bring back some good energy into your life.

Here’s how:

Smile. ‘When you smile it triggers mood-boosting hormones in the brain. So even if you don’t feel happy, put a smile on your face and you may soon start to feel more positive.’

Talk to someone.
It doesn’t matter whether it’s face-to-face, on the phone, via text or online. Social interaction again triggers those mood boosting hormones and also steers you away from too much thinking which in turn can lead to gloomy thoughts

Fight off negative thoughts. Make a list, or a keep a daily journal of all the ‘blessings’ you have in your life no matter how small, (wonderful family members, a roof over your head, food in your fridge, etc ).Then keep it with you at all times, and read it several times a day. However down you may be feeling, remember that you have not always felt this way, and will not always feel this way. Better and brighter days will come once again.

Get out of the house: Even if only to buy milk or a short walk around the block where you live make sure to go out daily. Bright daylight, fresh air, and the hustle and bustle of everyday life can all be helpful, as can the sights, sounds, and smells of nature. If you can, try to take some daily exercise, such as 20 minutes of brisk walking. Walking is known, to release chemicals called endorphins. These endorphins interact with receptors in the brain that both reduce pain and improve mood. Walking also increases serotonin levels in the brain. Serotonin is a brain chemical, i.e. a neurotransmitter that influences your mood – in this case for the better.

Get more sleep. Medical experts agree that single good night’s sleep, or even a short nap, can make a world of difference to your mood. If you struggle to get asleep or maintain sleep (often caused by hormonal changes over 50), then, it could be caused by a lack of ‘Melatonin’ which is an essential hormone for ‘sleep’. Sometimes your natural supply can become depleted due to various life-style factors. This can be remedied by taking a daily supplement, which many people find restores your natural sleep cycle.

Obviously, if a low mood persists or sleep disturbances persist, then it would be wise to consult with your GP. It’s not a sign of weakness to admit that you are feeling this way, in fact acknowledging it, takes you one step further forward to regaining good emotional health.

There is no need to suffer when there is so much that your doctor can do to help.
