Gypsy Spell For Deciding Between Two Lovers

THE ETERNAL TRIANGLE

If you're undecided between two lovers, gypsy magic can help.

Take two tulip bulbs. With a new pin scratch the name of one of your admirers on each bulb. Remembering which bulb represents which lover, plant the bulbs beside each other in a pot, window box, or garden.

The Gypsies believe that the bulb that blooms first will reveal the admirer who is most deserving of you.

Feng Shui Ritual To Bring Back A Lover

Followers of Feng Shui believe that there are two types of seperations that occur when couples split up: temporary and karmic. If a seperation is karmic, nothing you can do will ever bring your lover back. However, if it's temporary, you can use the following ritual:

1. Powerful Mirror Ritual For Reconciliations

  • Find a photograph of yourself smiling (half body picture) and a similar one for your loved one.
  • Now take 2 pieces of mirror the same size as the pictures. Place the two pictures so that they face each other.
  • Then place the mirrors outside the joined picture. They should reflect outwards. So, you will have 2 pictures sandwiched between 2 mirrors. Use tape to tape the mirrors together with the pictures inside.
  • When there is a full moon, catch the reflection of the moon on the surfaces of both mirrors. This is to call forth the magic of the God of Marriage. Keep until your loved one calls and meets you. Once this happens, release the pictures. The rest is up to you. This ritual will help create the opportunities for you to sort out any differences between you.

2. Use the Wishfulfilling Bird

Hang a bird ornament flying towards your home to symbolically call back a loved one. Write your wishes on a piece of paper and place it in the beak of the bird.

When Do Our Loved Ones In Spirit Visit Us?

The most popular times for visits from our spirit loved ones are on their birthday, or the anniversary of their death.  This is normally because the whole family is missing them and subconsciously sending thoughts to them. They will sense this and draw closer.

Other popular times for visits are Christmas, weddings and births. And also if life's difficult and you're experiencing a tough time, they'll be with you whether you can sense them or not. Even in spirit they will still want to offer you love and reassurance just as they did on the earthly plane.

But sometimes spirits will visit just because they want to watch you go about your daily life... as they miss you too.

Simple Spell To Contact Loved Ones in Spirit

You'll need:

1 white candle

Some personal items that belonged to your loved one

Most people have some form of sixth sense, but because we live in such a busy age, many of us lose our ability to tap into our inner psyche.

This spell can help reawaken your innate psychic abilities.

WHAT TO DO

On the evening of a full moon phase go the quietest room in  your home and light a white candle. Take a few items that belonged to your loved one (anything from clothing to an ornament or jewellery will do) and lay them down in front of you. Now close your eyes and place your hands on the objects for about five minutes. When you have finished, say this incantation three times:

'Transform my mind so I might see, As I touch these things in front of me, Connect to the keeper with my power, in dream-sleep speak to me this hour'

Close the spell by saying 'So mote it be'. Now sit quietly for about half an hour before blowing the candle out. Place the objects near to your bed. As you drift off to sleep think about the person in spirit that you wish to contact. That night they should come to you in your dreams. If it doesn't work the first time you cast the spell, keep trying, as it can take practice to make the connection.

Crystal Cure For Insomnia

Cyrstal therapy has long been used as a gentle system of holistic healing.  By drawing on the unique qualities of various crystals you can balance the energy fields around the body to restore wellbeing.

If you're someone who finds sleep difficult at night and find yourself lying awake for hours anxiously watching the clock go around there are several crystals that help bring relief and promote restful sleep.

Malachite is well-known for its sleep inducing qualitites and  you should hold it for one hour before you go to bed and keep holding the crystal when you go to bed. Your sleep pattern should improve the very first night and should return to normal after two weeks. Larvakite, muscovite and strawberry quartz also enhance restful sleep. Carrying or wearing amethyst, cerussite, hermatite, lapis lazuli sodalite or zircon in the evening can also be helpful.

Sweet dreams!

Mum, You're So Catty

A jailed robber in Wert, Germany, went to court to demand his cat be allowed to visit him in prison - because he believes the moggy is his dead mother!

Peter Keonig, 46, a Buddhist who believes in reincarnation, said: "I know (my cat) Giesela is Mummy, she looks after me the way Mum did. I need to see her like other prisoners see their wives and kids."

Despite his request the court turned down his request. "While we respect the freedom of individuals, the accused has not been able to furnish proof his deceased mother has been reborn has as a cat" said a spokesman for the court.

Born to Score?

The time of year you were born might affect your chance of becoming a world-class footballer, say researchers. They analysed 763 players from 10 European national youth teams and found that 43 per cent of the players were born in the first three months of the year, while just nine per cent were born between October and December.

Superstar player, Cristino Ronalda (pictured left) is no doubt pleased as he was born on the 5th February 1985!

Strangely Spooky Coincidences

In 2008 , CALIFORNIAN Williard Lovell locked herself out of her house. She spent 10 minutes trying to find a way in when the postman handed her a letter from her brother. In it was the spare key he had taken back to Washington after a visit.

IN 2002, 70-year-old twin brothers died within hours of one another after separate accidents on the same road in northern Finland. The first of the twins died when he was hit by a lorry while riding his bike in Raahe, 600 kilometres north of the capital, Helsinki. He died just 1.5km from the spot where his brother was killed.

IN 1946 Mildred West, an obituary writer on New York's Alton Evening Telegraph, took a week's holiday. During her absence, and for the first time in the newspaper's history, there were no deaths recorded in Alton (population 32,000).Normally they average 10 deaths a week.

Feel the Fear and Create Your Own Future

Change can be scary for many people but it's  also the pathway to our liberation. Top selling French/Cuban author, the late Anais Nin, once said “And then the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”

If there is something in your life you need to let go of, from an unhealthy relationship to negative patterns of behaviour, try writing down and answering these five questions to free yourself from the paralysis of self- doubt and into a new found freedom:-

  1. What am I no longer willing to have as part of my life?
  2. What do I want instead?
  3. What stops me saying goodbye to what I no longer want once and for all?
  4. What will it cost me if I continue to have this in my life?
  5. What do I commit to doing to bring in or create space for the new?

Even if you sit there for an hour not knowing what to write in response... try breathing deeply, relaxing , and trusting yourself that you know that you know the answer, even if you aren’t conscious of it yet, it will gradually start to surface from the depths of your unconscious mind.

The most important thing is to do something, no matter how small, even if you can’t do it with a full heart and total conviction.  Don’t wait until you believe change is possible. Don’t wait to feel good to do something that will do you good.  Do it, and eventually you’ll catch up with yourself and build momentum to go on and make your own dreams come true.

This is particularly powerful if you are trying to move on from say a relationship that, for whatever reason, has ended. Ask yourself just how much you are prepared to inconvenience yourself to start a new and very different life. The British Racing Driver, Nigel Mansell who later became a Forumula One World Champion in 1992 knew all about inconveniencing himself. He gave up a secure job, sold everything he owned and lived in his car whilst he was trying to establish himself as a professional driver. He even at one point discharged himself from hospital with a broken neck ( albeit in a collar) against medical advise to take part in a race. But eventually through his own efforts he he achieved his dream to stand on the podium and take the trophy as the World's number one!  Whilst there is no need to perhaps make such drastic sacrifices as Mr Mansell- you must be prepare to take some action. Life passes very quickly. Why let more months slip by without making an effort to change things for the better?  Each week after starting this process, revisit what you have written and answer the following questions:-

  1. What new things have come into my life as a result of the actions I have taken?
  2. What have I noticed about me, or the way that others respond to me, since making changes?
  3. Is there anything else I can do to support myself in creating my new life?

You may suprise yourself by just how much progress you've made in a short space of time. And remember you've nothing to loose but everything to gain!

Superstar Barbra Streisand Received Messages From Her Dead Father

World superstar Babra Streisand is a firm believer in the afterlife. The star who has had numerous singing and film successes, says her inspiration for the hit movie "Yentl" came from her father, who spoke to her from beyond the grave. Her father died when she was only 15 months old, but she claims to have received two messages from her father in 1979, four years before Yentl was released.

She said: "The first one was "Sorry", which was astounding because I was angry with him for dying and leaving me.

"The second message was "Sing proud" I know it sounds crazy, but it was my father telling me to have the courage of my convictions. I made Yentl. And I did sing proud"

At the time, Streisand said she was trying to decide whether to direct and star in Yentl, a story about a Jewish girl who disguises herself as her dead brother Anshel so she can study to become a rabbi. A few days  before she had made her first visit to her father's grave, which in an astonishing coincidence was next to that of a man named Anchel!

She added: "To me, this was sign from beyond that I should definitely make this movie"

Can You Read Tarot Cards For Yourself?

People who are studying the Tarot or working with their own psychic development often ask if it's really possible to read Tarot for yourself. The general issue seems to be whether you can remain objective when it’s a reading for you as opposed to when you are giving a psychic reading to someone else.

The short answer is, yes you can indeed read Tarot for yourself!

I love Tarot cards as they are filled with the most profound symbolism, but for me they are just a jumping off point to another level of consciousness where we can see things more clearly and often catch glimpses of the future.  The symbolism, can spark any latent psychic ability you have and therefore the magic is within you, and not in the cards which are, after all, just coloured pictures on pieces of cards, So maybe the question we really have to start with is, how tuned in to your own psychic intuition are you before you pick up the cards and start using them?

Psychic development involves practicing tuning in to our intuition and paying attention to it as a source of information that is just as important as anything you might see or hear.  Often it can be more important, because we can distort what we see and hear, whereas our intuition is usually crystal clear.

We can dull our ability to tune in to own psychic intuition simply by not paying attention to it, either because it’s not really valued in our ‘rational’ society, because we drown it out with the hustle and buzzle of everyday life, or because it goes against what we want to be the case.

One way to get a better reading for yourself may be by  keeping a tarot journal to chart your journey when you do readings for yourself. Scribble down absolutely everything that springs to your mind without second guessing or censoring yourself.  Just put it all on paper.  You’ll get used to sensing whatever is coming in is from your own psychic intuition and when your own voice is starting to creep in.

Alongside that, make a note of how you were actually feeling when you did the reading.  Were you calm and open to messages?  Were you excited, upset, or otherwise finding it hard to concentrate?  How did you feel about what you saw in the reading?

Over time, you’ll be able to look back and actually measure your progress by noting whether future events have unfolded the way you saw them.  That direct feedback will help you see where you are doing well and where you might need to improve.  What you’ll probably find is that when you are calm and open, you are more able to listen to what your intuition is trying to tell you and that you do a better reading as a result.

In this way you can start experimenting with how to become focused and centred before you pick the cards up.  Regular meditation helps with this.

Experiment with this method for a few weeks and see what happens!

Feng Shui Your Love life

In Feng Shui, the art of placement, positive energy, or ‘chi’ is encouraged to flow through your home like a gentle breeze. If you have loads of clutter, dingy dark areas or just boring spaces, the energy can become stagnant. If you’re looking for romance you need to think deeply about why that romantic energy flow might be blocked.

1. Find your romance hotspot

First you need to find the part of your home, or of any room, that romantic energy has its greatest power. In Feng Shui this is the South West corner. To find that, stand at the doorway facing into to your house, or stand in the doorway of any room. Hold a compass and locate the SW corner. This is your love and romance power zone.

2. Clear it up!

Now you need to look at what’s happenning in that area and clear it up. Is it cluttered or messy? Is it dark or dingy? Does it need of a quick coat of paint? Do you have any objects that aren’t particularly romantic such as a bin, cat litter tray or a picture of something weird? Move anything inappropriate from the area, give it a clean and clap your hands together a few times to wake up any stagnant chi.

3. Apply feng Shui ‘cures’

In Feng Shui, love and romance is attracted by placing appropriate objects in pairs: two pink or red candles, two heart-shaped pillows, two pink blossoms, two silk roses, a picture of a pair of mandarin ducks, doves or swans.
Pay special attention to your bedroom, placing two rose quartz crystals each side of your bed and have two long stemmed red or pink flowers in a vase on each side. Use images, picture and objects that you associate with love and romance, personally, to strengthen the energy further.

Avoid prickly plants such as cacti, and stay away from dried flowers. Goddess statues are excellent and if the area is tidy and clean hang a light-reflecting crystal above it to reflect the good vibes. But hanging a crystal in a messy area will only magnify the cluttered energy out into the world.

If you have a loo in the SW corner of your bathroom, keep the lid down to avoid ‘flushing away’ romance and place a couple of heart shaped crystals on the top.
If you have a cupboard in the SW area, clear it out, keep it tidy and hang some beautiful dresses in it!

A red or pink lamp (a lava lamp would be perfect!) in your love zone will warm up and highlight your romantic potential. Any broken, ugly or unhappy-memory objects need to go. Be tough – what’s more important – an outworn piece of tat or a potentially exciting love life?

Colour Healing Your Home

If there have been a lot of upsets and emotional issues in your home in the past, you may be looking for a simple way to dispel any negativity. A brilliant way to do this which will also at the same time bring an energy boost to your home, is to think about the colours that you use in each room.  Every colour vibrates with a particular kind of energy, so you can use different hues to set moods or deliberately draw in more of what you want the ambiance of any particular room to be about.

When you’re thinking about using colour in your home, you don’t have to go overboard.  You can think in terms of flowers, candles, panels, crystals, paintings, curtains or cushions rather than floor to ceiling washes.  Take a look at each colour below to learn more about the energy associated with each.

Pink

Pink is the colour of unconditional love and beauty.  Go for the soft pinks rather than the bubblegum hues to give any room a gentle, loving energy. It brings a sense of peace and comfort. Many prisons in America use pink to calm inmates! Pink is comforting and relaxing but make sure there is a balance of colours as pink can overwhelm some men.

Red

As you can imagine, red is an immensely energetic colour that can really stir things up and bring things to a head!  It is the colour of passion (and incidentally the root chakra, the centre of our life force!).   Fabulous for the boudoir in small touches but if you have a fiery personality one to be avoided! It is also not a good colour if you have high blood pressure.

White

White can make a room feel pure and clean, but floor to ceiling white can start to feel a bit clinical, so break it up with other colours from the rainbow palette. it’s a great colour if you feel you have cluttered thoughts.

Brown

No surprises for getting that this colour is associated with the earth and a sense of grounding.   Used wisely, it can lend an air of stability and order.

Orange

Orange is another ‘hot’ colour that, when cleverly used, can quite literally bring the sun in to any room.  It symbolises energy and has a lot of staying power.  The more mellow blends can create chill out havens. Orange is the colour of sexuality so can give you a creative and sensual boost. Avoid painting a kitchen orange as it’s said to increase your appetite.

Gold

This rich colour is linked with wealth, but also abundance and wisdom.  Gold fabrics bring a real touch of luxury. It’s also a great colour of personal protection.

Purple

Purple is the colour of Royalty.  Majestic and magical, purple can bring the unconscious to your conscious intention, so if you ever sleep in a purple room, pay attention to your dreams. It can bring a sense of belonging and confidence.

Yellow

Yellow brings in the energy of happiness and lightness into a room and is also linked with quick thinking.  A beautiful colour in its own right, it can also be seen as a paler version of gold and so is also believed to bring wisdom, perhaps aided by faster thought!  It’s a lovely colour to use because you can simply enjoy the energy it brings without feeling the need to leap up and do anything. It’s the colour of the solar plexus so can help bring a stronger sense of self and self esteem.

Green

Associated with nature, the colour green symbolises life itself and the right shade in the right touches can make a room feel light and vibrant.  Green is the colour associated with the heart chakra and is also believed to balance the eyes and bring a sense of wellbeing.

Blue

Blue is considered to be one of the most spiritual colours and is linked with calmness.  It’s also associated with meditation, so use it in the area you set aside for any regular practice. Blue is the colour of the throat chakra and so is brilliant if you have problems expressing yourself. It is quite a detached colour so it's not ideal for the bedroom but perfect for the bathroom.

Feng Shui Mirrors - A Key To Attracting Wealth And Positive Energies

In the ancient art of Feng Shui, mirrors are used to attract, move , or change the flow of energy. Placing a mirror correctly is vital to attract the positive energies to the home.  Mirrors enlarge a space, deflect something, flatten a wall, or make a wall disappear. Does that sound weird? Not if you consider mirrors reflect what they see back at you and that includes energy. Different kinds of mirrors are used in Feng Shui but the most popular types used are either round or octagonal styles . Always find the best quality mirror as if it is  of poor quality, the mirror image will be distorted. Mirrors should be whole and complete, not the small mirror tiles often found as this will cut the image into pieces.

In Feng Shui there are certain places where a mirror is not considered desirable. Mirrors placed at the end of a long hallway only reflect a longer hallway. And as they always reflect back what is in front of them, if a room has a lot of clutter, the mirror will reflect even more stuff. Mirrors in bedrooms could be startling when the person awakes. Mirrors are brilliant to place in small rooms as the space will immediately feel bigger. Objects can seemingly “pass through” a mirror and it's possible to open up a space or make a wall disappear. Mirrors are also good by a front door as they welcome wealth into a home and are also considered ideal when trying to harmonize the energies of the home.

Try experimenting with the placement of mirrors in your home and see if your fortunes and energy levels improve. You may be surprised!

Spell To Deter Burglars

You will need:
One tablespoon of garlic salt
A few sprigs of fresh mint, chopped (or one tablespoon of dried mint)
A fireproof dish or bucket

Place the garlic salt and mint in the fireproof dish. Write ‘protection from intruders’ in ink on a piece of paper. Light the paper and add to the dish so the mixture smoulders. When the moon is waxing, take the cool ashes and bury them in the ground close to your house as you say:

‘I sanctify and clear this place,
Let all that trespass be banished with haste

Looking for Mr Rich? The key to a man’s wealth is in his fingers !

Want to know if a man is rich? Then sneak at peek at his hands rather than his wallet. Scientists believe that the length of a man's ring finger points to his attitude to money. In short, the longer the ring finger compared to his index finger, the richer he is likely to be.

And the greater the chance that he is a go-getter who doesn't take no for an answer whether it is sealing a financial deal or trying to win a girl's heart.

Academics from Canada's Concordia University measured finger lengths and personality differences among 415 men and women. The alpha males, whose ring fingers were much longer than their index fingers, were greater risk takers in all areas of their lives. Women often fall for go-getting types, like Simon Cowell or Apprentice star Lord Alan Sugar, because they are seen as fit, rich and assertive, says researcher Eric Stenstrom. He said: 'Our findings show an association between high testosterone and risk-taking among males in three domains: recreational, social and financial. 'Since women tend to be attracted to men who are fit, assertive and rich, men are apt to take risks with sports, people and money to be attractive to potential mates.' It is thought that exposure to high levels of the hormone.

In women, the two fingers are usually almost equal in length but in men, the ring finger tends to be longer than the index finger, and the longer it is, the more masculine he tends to be. Researcher Zack Mendenhall said: 'Pre-natal testosterone exposure not only influences foetal brain development, but it slows the grow of the index finger relative to the sum of the four fingers, excluding the thumb.'

The researchers, whose findings are published in the journal Personality and Individual Differences added: 'What's interesting is that this tendency is influenced by testosterone exposure - more testosterone in the womb can lead to more risk-taking later in life.'

The study did not find a link between female finger length and attitude to taking risks, financial or otherwise. This, said the research team, could be because women feel less of a need to show off when searching for a mate.

Previous studies have discovered that men with long ring fingers are more likely to be physically aggressive - and more promiscuous. Scientists also claim that finger length holds clues to a person's sexual orientation.

Fingernail types, health & traditional chinese medicine

Emily Wang - a beauty journalist wrote an interesting article about various aspects of fingernails, including beauty tips, changes in nail colour and texture and also the meaning of fingernails types according teh ancient art of Chinese medicine.

Here's a brief summary from her article: The Truth about Your Fingernails

Interestingly enough- according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, our nails are also able to portray our innate constitutions.

If your nail shape is naturally:

Oblong – You are harmonious and well-balanced.
Stock and square – You are earthy and balanced but mentally rigid.
Long – You are artistic and creative but lack physical strength.
Oval – You are sensitive and have a weak digestive system.

Examine your own nail shapes - does this make sense? Many people find that strangely it does! Interesting.

Rusell Crowe's Psychic Experiences

Russell Crowe says he's  had more than one spooky psychic experience during his life.

And his came in a very Australian form.

"Suddenly a kookaburra flew in the window," he said.

"It looked me in the eye and I knew my grandfather had died.

"I phoned home and my mother confirmed it."

Russell was adamant that the bird was his grandfather's spirit.

Many years later, the Gladiator star awoke from a strange dream in which he was consoling his tearful mother.

"My mother said a woman who had worked closely with my grandfather had come to visit and, had told her a story that reduced her to tears.

"She said that on the day my grandfather died a kookaburra had visited her too. "

Spooky, eh!

Ghostly Face At Church Window

Excerpt of original article by Kathy Gearing which appeared in the Autumn 2005 Newsletter of the British Ghost Club . Photograph: Sophia Ward

This photo was taken in late summer 1997 at St Mary Magdalene Church in Bildeston, Suffolk. It was early morning, just getting light and Sophia took a snap of her friend under a tree. The church was in darkness and there was nobody else around. When the 35mm photograph was developed Sophia noticed a light in one of the windows surrounding what appears to be the image of a young boy leaning on the sill with his chin resting on his hand.

While many of us would argue that perhaps this is a result of the flash rebounding off the church window pane, the explanation doesn't quite seem to fit as it is on the far left of the picture, and not more central as you would expect, and Sophia did not use the flash. The "boys" face is very large and out of scale compared to the figure of Sophias friend who is standing closer to the camera, and he is definitely illuminated from the front, and not from behind, (as you'd expect had someone been looking out of the window with a light on in the building).

What do you think?

Is Your Future Pre-Destined?

Contrary to popular belief, psychic readings are not all about telling people their future.

In fact, many of my clients usually find it much more useful when a reading helps them to make sense of the present.

Nevertheless, it often happens that a glimpse (or sometimes a lot more than a glimpse) of the future will be revealed during a reading. When this happens, I am often asked questions like, "Is this future set in stone? Can it be changed?" or "This looks great! Wait, is their any way I can mess it up?"

Basically what these questions all boil down to is: "Is the future predestined, or is it determined by our choices and those of others?"

The answer? It's both.

Of course this sounds like an impossibility, or paradox. Let me explain. Human beings are ultimately defined by our choices. Yet each of us is on our own unique path in life. This path leads us to events in our life where we must make a choice. Think of these events as "defining moments". Now, the type of choice we will have to make during this defining moment (love or money, risk or security, etc...), has been predetermined according to our own unique path - nothing can change it. However, what we choose is completely up to us, and contributes to who we are.

So who decided this predetermined path that we are on, and what kinds of choices we will have to make? You did! Your spirit. You cannot be separated from spirit, not even by time. Therefore, there has never been a time when you did not exist, and their never will be. When we realize this, our fears and insecurities melt away.

The following quote (which I believe is from A Course in Miracles - paraphrased) sums up this idea nicely...

"If you only knew who walked beside you, on this path that you yourself have chosen, you would never experience fear or doubt again."
