Haunted House That Spooked TV's Anne Diamond
ANNE Diamond has revealed she was once scared off buying her dream home after coming face-to-face with the ghost of its previous owner.
The TV presenter said she could not bear to live in the house with her children knowing it was haunted and so gave it up even though it was perfect in every other way.
The ghostly encounter came shortly after the traumatic end to her 10-year marriage to TV producer Mike Hollingsworth in 1999.
Miss Diamond, a regular guest on Channel 5’s current affairs show The Wright Stuff, re-lived the scary encounter for a television show.
The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant was house hunting and fell in love with the “wonderful old Victorian house” in Warwick and planned to move in with her four boys.
She visited and was greeted by an elderly lady who had been born in the house and lived in it all her life, raising her own family there.
“She showed me around and said she was sad to leave but that her grown-up children were pressing her to sell and move to a modern flat,” she said.
“I thought she rather liked the look of me, and liked the idea that we were a big family who would fill it with joy and laughter.
“I rang the agent and offered the asking price – only to be told that the lady had decided not to sell after all.”
Six months later Miss Diamond, 57, received a call from the estate agent saying the house was empty and back on the market.
She collected the keys and went back to the house with her mother.
“At the front door, I was fiddling around trying to find the right key when the door opened and there was the same little white-haired old lady who’d first shown me around,” she said.
She left us to explore the place. But this time the house was bare and empty.
“Everything had been moved out – except what seemed to be a large wooden box lying in the centre of the living room. My mother sat on it then jumped up, saying, ‘I don’t like this… it’s the shape of a coffin’.
“We both had tingles running up and down our spines so, not being able to find the old lady again, we quickly left.
“When I returned the keys to the agent, I told him the old lady had shown us round and he said, ‘That can’t have been her because she died a couple of months ago. The children are selling it now, and you had the only keys’.” Miss Diamond, who also starred in 2006 Celebrity Fit Club after openly battling her weight for years, went back to find the wooden box in the middle of the room had disappeared.
She said: “I can only believe that it was the old lady’s ghost that showed us round and that there was indeed a coffin on the living room floor.
“I can’t get my mind off that. In fact, I believe she is still there in the fabric of the house. Talk about spooked. I decided not to buy the place after all.” But according to local paranormal investigator Duncan Curtlin, of Paranormal Nights , the story is entirely plausible.
He said: “Warwick is a particularly haunted area.
“It is probably something to do with the presence of Warwick Castle and Guy’s Cliffe House (a dilapidated country house) which both have a lot going on with them.
“It is certainly not unusual to come across a ghost, and I do remember this story when it happened.”

A 'News' Career For Chelsea Clinton
Chelsea Clinton never was one to seek attention. Having grown up in the public eye during her awkward teen years during her father’s presidency, she was always a silent support for her powerhouse parents -- until now. In a surprising turn of events, Chelsea has taken a full-time job as a special correspondent for the NBC news! So, is this the new Chelsea? Will she enjoy the spotlight and take over prime time TV?
Chelsea is a shy Pisces with a secretive Scorpio Rising, which definitely indicates she is not a girl that thrives on attention. However, she does have a Leo Moon, which shows she can handle it -- and with her mid-heaven also in Leo, she was born to be famous. Plus, with her mid-heaven in the Ninth House, which rules communication skills , being part of a news team is a perfect fit. However, ultimately, with her Mars in Virgo and Venus in Aries, it does indicate that she needs a purpose and a challenge, which news reporting will be, but it may not be a strong enough indicator that TV work is her life’s calling, albeit an experience that interests her for now.

Five destructive habits that sabotage your love relationships
After three decades of working as a psychic I’ve helped counsel many people with love problems and I’d say that other than infidelity, at least one of the destructive habits outlined below is responsible for the break-down of most love relationships.
Read the list. Does it apply to you too? If so, it may be time to take some action to get your love life back on track.
1. Over-prioritising
Don’t get me wrong – your relationship is very important. But so are you. And so is the life you’d so carefully built up before you began your relationship. Don’t be tempted to start putting yourself and your stuff – your goals, interests and friends – in second place when you’re in a relationship, because it won’t get the results you long for.
When we fall in love with somebody new, it’s easy to make them the focus of your world. It feels fun to do that! But over time, if you don’t maintain your own life too, your relationship will feel like it has become your life. You’ll panic at the thought of it finishing because you have nothing else to do, making you more likely to put up with sub-standard treatment. By focussing on your love life, you’ll find other areas of your world start to look neglected, making you spend MORE time focussing on love instead, as problems elsewhere become unbearable… Here’s some relationship advice: Get the balance right. The easiest way sometimes to work on your relationship is to work on other things instead! Keep the interests, goals and friends you had at the beginning of the relationship. Keep them in good condition; tend to them. This way, you’ll have more energy, confidence and enthusiasm when you’re with your partner, and your full, well-rounded life will keep them attracted to you. And it'll also stop you forever texting your partner to check where they are, what they are doing and who they are with! Everyone needs some space.
2. If Only…
If only he’d buy me flowers every week. If only she’d watch sport with me. If only he earned more money. If only she could lose 10lbs… “If Only”s will damage your relationship very quickly. You might think you’re stealthily having these thoughts but they’ll be visible to your other half through your actions. Yes, they will. You’ll pout when he comes home without flowers, or you’ll fidget resentfully through the movie as you long to watch the big match on the other side. Strangely, “If Only”s are usually the sign you’re in a good relationship! Without real, concrete problems to focus on, you have time to day-dream about hypothetical finishing-touches. My relationship advice? Stop. Instead of thinking about what your partner doesn’t have, think about what they do. Write a list of the top 20 things you adore about your partner and see how that immediately pushes the “If Only”s out of the picture.
3. Disloyalty
You and your partner are a team. One of the easiest ways to damage your relationship is to be disloyal to your partner. So don’t spill all their secrets to your friends, don’t moan endlessly about them to anyone who’ll listen, don’t lie to them (even if it’s easier) and don’t go against their wishes on matters that are important to them – work to find a compromise.
The reason this is important is that the strongest, soundest relationships create their own feeling of “It’s you and me against the world!” But as soon as you destroy that, it’s gone. Some relationship advice about loyalty - see your partner’s best side, be the voice that boosts them up instead of putting them down. If they are someone you can’t genuinely respect or admire, you shouldn’t be with them.
4. Lack of self-care
It’s important to maintain your appearance when you’re in a relationship – not only will it keep your partner fancying you, it will keep your self-confidence high. You’ll keep your sassy, spicy edge which is one of the most successful ingredients in good long-term affairs. But don’t let your health, including mental health, go neglected. When it comes to appearance, the best relationship advice is simply to look after yourself: get enough sleep, eat healthily, exercise. If your partner has an unhealthy lifestyle, try not to copy it for the sake of “going along to get along”. If they eat unhealthy food, don’t give in to their pizza suggestions every time, introduce them to your favourite healthy meals instead or order your own light alternatives. In the first flush of love you might go without rest, but don’t skip sleep long-term, it’ll make you moody and more likely to over-react to problems that arise. Make your health a priority.
5. Competitiveness
This is a very common habit amongst unhappy couples. They compete for everything – who’s the most successful, who’s doing the most housework, who buys the best presents, even who’s the most ill. It’s incredibly unsupportive and is one of the fastest ways to alienate a partner as they’ll soon turn to other people to receive much-needed appreciation and praise. Competition arises when one – or both – partners feels insecure. Disliking themselves, they feel threatened when they perceive their partner to be somehow “better” than them, so they look to redress the balance, either by boasting about their own achievements, or by belittling their partner’s. It can also be sparked by a major life event (buying a home, having a baby, marriage or promotion) that shakes up a couple’s life significantly. My relationship advice here is, if you’re the one feeling competitive, work on improving your self-confidence. The tips in this article will help, so focus on your goals, friends, appearance and health until your partner’s success no longer threatens you. If your partner is the one who always seems keen to out-do you, give them attention and praise and encourage them to build a fulfilling life outside your relationship. Then you should both be able to become one another’s cheerleaders again, instead of feeling you’re on opposing teams

Who is Leo DiCaprio's Perfect Lady?
Eternal batchelor Leonardo DiCaprio has recently turned 37. Currently starring in Clint Eastwood’s J. Edgar and newly single from a summer fling with actress/model Blake Lively, Leo can have his pick of any woman -- and he has, as his past is marked with a long list of supermodels. However, it seems no matter how long the legs or exquisite the face, Leo has yet to find the one ! Does she exist and what would she be like?
Leo is a Scorpio, double Libra (Rising and Moon), so this boy will always seek out beauty in his women. Of course, being that he is a Scorpio Sun, Venus and Mars (despite the heavy partnership influences of his Rising and Moon) he is a bit of a loner. However, being part of a couple is also important to him, but something more like a removable asset than something permanent. While it’s likely marriage will never happen, he does have a soft spot for love and intimacy, but it’d only work with a girl that is as aloof about commitment as he is. This would make his ideal match a Gemini or Sagittarius, with a stable Moon, like a Taurus or Cancer Moon.

Astrology: What Does Your Sun Sign Say About Money And You
Do you worry about bankruptcy hovering just around the next corner? Or do you blithely assume your guardian angel will fish you out of a cash-tight spot? Your Sun sign can shed light on how you feel about your finances.
The zodiac's biggest worriers over money and security tend to be the Earth signs.
Many Aquarians. and Capricorns start mapping out their retirement plans in their early 20s; all the time they fear they haven't made enough for next year -- and the next four decades too!
Taurus is also highly security-conscious, preferring to build up little nest eggs here and there just to ensure they're never left without life's basic necessities. They can also seem quite ungenerous at times, as they tend to maintain an underlying fear of being poor and powerless
Virgo tends to worry about everything, so money is just another area of life's uncertainties. Despite their tidy reputation, they can be chaotic about cash.
Other Aquarians heavily influenced by Saturn can be extremely attached to what's theirs. They dislike the idea of not having status and possessions, so they tend to accumulate rather than live for the day. However, a Uranus-influenced Aquarius will follow the opposite path, rarely giving a second thought to tomorrow.
Aries and Sagittarius are much the same. They happily live hand-to-mouth since they unshakably believe that a safety net will be there for them whenever they most need it. Sagittarius really is the Pollyanna of the financial l universe, since they have lucky Jupiter as a ruler. These folks ardently believe they can rely on some kind of break that will fund them until more money arrives.
Oddly enough, Virgo also has that same quality of being able to pull a money-rabbit out of a hat when the going gets tough. They're never overly optimistic, but it seems they do have special powers!
Pisces, sharing Jupiter as a ruler with Sagittarius, also has a lucky streak and a gambler's belief that everything will get better just over the horizon.
Librans indeed loves money and all the indulgences it buys, but they tend to have more enthusiasm than common sense, so cash slides through their fingers at an alarming rate. They assume the good life will always be there for them, and as a result can end up slipping into financial trouble at times.
Leo is a Fire sign, but lacks the overwhelming confidence of its sibling signs, Aries and Sagittarius. Still, Leo believes they deserve riches. After all, money is their birthright, or so they think ....
Gemini tends to be both a pessimist and an optimist, since they're the archetypal split sign: up one day, down the next. But they're intuitive about money and are generally able to recognize which way the financial winds are blowing.
Cancer and Scorpio share a degree of Taurus's insecurity about money, and they tend to hoard as a result. They won't allow themselves to go short, though, because it's so crucially important to them to never appear to be poor to others

Fortune Teller
Marie Anne Adelaide Lenormand (born in 1772) was a legendry French fortune teller. She was active for more than 40 years, and gained considerable fame for her skills during the Napoleonic era.
She claimed to have been a fortune teller to many famous people of the time, among them the ill-fated leaders of the French revolution (Marat, Robespierre and St-Just).
As a fortune teller she also read the fortunes of Empress Josephine, and Czar Alexander of Russia.
The fortune teller famously predicted that Josephine would marry Napoleon, and become Empress of France. And then at a later stage she warned Josephine that Napoleon would divorce her. This was the leader's intent but it was knowledge known to no-one, not even his closest contacts. Napolean was so angry when he learned of this prediction that he ordered the fortune teller to be jailed immediately.
The fortune teller also became famous for foretelling the violent deaths of the leaders of the French Revolution
In 1814 the fortune teller started a second literary career and published many fortune telling books with unpleasant predictions about politicians and leaders. This caused much outrage and she was imprisoned several times... but never for very long as those that imprisioned her feared she would curse them.
In France she's considered the greatest cartomancer of all time, highly influential on the wave of French cartomancy that began in the late 18th century.
After her death her name was used on a newly-developed divination card deck, the so-called Lenormand cards. These are still used extensively in modern Germany, and are almost as popular as Tarot cards in some regions.

Spirit Kiss
From Melissa in America comes the strange tale of a reassuring kiss she experienced from the spirit world when her young son had been dangerously ill
Melissa writes:
My beautiful son is 18 months old now, and is a great joy to our family. When my grandpa passed on last year, my entire family looked at my son as a blessing, one who kept their spirits up during a sad time. Last October, my son was hospitalized with bronchiolitis, a severe respiratory infection. He was in the hospital for 2½ days, and my husband and I refused to leave his side. His first night in the hospital, his oxygen levels dipped so low that he actually turned blue, and if it weren't for the fast actions of the medical team I know we could've lost him right then.
The morning after my son turned blue, I was holding my son while laying on the small, uncomfortable couch in his room with the TV on low so he could get some rest. Because of the tubes taped to my son's small body, he kept tossing and turning, which didn't allow me to get any sleep at all. I finally got him cozy enough so that I was able to close my eyes to rest a little. The entire time, I could hear the TV in the background, and occasionally laughed at some of the comments on the talk show that was on. Suddenly, I felt someone in the room with us, but I was too scared to open my eyes. I then felt lips kiss my forehead, and I felt at peace. In that split second, I knew my son would be okay. I opened my eyes and there was no one in the room with us. I didn't expect there to be, but my mind was reeling at the feel of the warm kiss on my forehead. My forehead tingled for about 10 minutes afterward.
I don't know if it was one of my dearly departed grandfathers, my great-grandmother, or just a kind spirit offering me comfort, but I am thankful for the soul who stopped by to check up on us that day! And whoever it was didn't lie. At my son's 18-month checkup, the doctor declared him 150% better and couldn't stop exclaiming at how he had recovered so fast.

Pushed to Safety by an Angel
From California in the US, comes the true story of one young mother's encounter with what she considers an angelic helper when her car broke down on a dark, deserted road leaving her stranded with two young children and no way of getting help.
Back in 1980, Deb was a single mother with two infants in San Bernardino County, California, and occasionally she needed reliable babysitters. Fortunately, her parents lived only about 30 miles away in Alta Loma. Deb would usually drop off the children at her parents' house, go do what she needed to do, then pick them up in the evening.
On this night, Deb had retrieved her babies from her parents' place and was heading home. It was relatively late, about 11:30 p.m., and Deb was driving her "old clunker". Among the car's many deficiencies, the gas gauge was broken, requiring her to guess when the old thing needed fuel. Occasionally, her guessing was off.
"Halfway home, the car started to putter," Deb remembers, "and I realized I was on empty. I pulled off the first offramp I could, and it just happened to be one that was slightly uphill. Almost at the top of the exit, my car died and there was absolutely nothing around except empty fields and distant lights at a truck stop about a quarter of a mile down the road. There were no other cars around me. It was pitch dark, other than my headlights. I remember I could hear crickets, and the babies were sound asleep in their car seats. I panicked because I couldn't think of what to do. Walking in the middle of nowhere with a kid on each hip after midnight was not going to work, and I couldn't - and wouldn't! - leave them in the car."
Remember that this was some time before mobile phones became commonplace. So with no means of communication, stuck in the dark with a dead car and two helpless, sleeping infants, Deb was feeling desperate. "I put my head on the steering wheel while saying a short and panicky prayer," she says. "I hadn't even finished when I heard a few taps on my window."
When she looked up, there stood a clean-cut looking young man, who Deb estimated to be about 21 years old. He motioned for her to roll down her window. "I remember I was surprised," Deb says, "but I wasn't even the slightest bit afraid, even though I normally would have been terrified. He had on clean pants, a dressy shirt and had neatly trimmed hair. He smelled slightly of soap. He didn't even ask me if I needed help. He just told me to put my car in neutral and he would push me over the slight hill down the road to the rest stop where I could get a couple dollars worth of gas - back then when it was a couple of dollars.
"I thanked him and followed his instructions. The car started moving. I steered it toward the lights of the truck stop and turned around to yell 'thank you' again to him. He was so nice! My car kept moving, but the young man was nowhere in sight. I mean, this area was completely remote. There was absolutely nowhere he could have gone that quickly, even if there was somewhere to go. I don't even know where he came from to begin with.
"My car continued to roll down the road to the truck stop, and I was so grateful to be in a lit area with people around. The kids didn't even wake up. I've always trusted in God to take care of us, but in relating that story many times to my children, who are now 30 and 32, they know for a fact that angels do exist and are sent to us if we just believe. I always thought it was so amazing that we were sent someone who I would trust instinctively without question. Since that incident, I've come to believe that we probably encounter angels all the time, and take for granted who they really are. I think they come in all shapes and sizes, young and old... and sometimes when we least expect them."

Death Knock Warnings
From Christopher O'Brien in Ontario, in Canada, comes the strange and eerie tale of ghostly knocking sounds that pre-warned of deaths of several of his family members and even a much loved pet dog.
Christopher writes:
"I'm searching for an explanation concerning strange occurences that have happened several times in my life. The first time was as a child of eight, I was in the care of my German grandmother. I had been sat drawing at the kitchen table of my grandparents' farmhouse during summer break when it happened.
My grandmother had been jarring preserves when we were both startled by three loud knocks that had seemed to have come from nowhere and yet everywhere at the same time. My grandmother turned ashen and said nothing for a few moments. She quickly took me outside to play with my siblings; nothing was ever said about it and it only remained in my memory because of first being startled then being angry that I was taken away from my drawing.
I later learned many years later that my grandmother's sister passed away that evening from a heart related ailment.
Just over ten years ago, my father rang me to tell me about my brother when I was at home with my partner. My brother suffered from a long-term substance abuse addiction and had been extremely hard to deal with that evening. My father went on to add that, not only did he have that situation to deal with, but he thought, The whole damn house was going to come down too because of three or four huge 'bangs' within the walls. My brother died from a cocaine overdose just hours later.
My father knew nothing of my other grandmother's story and I had not made any connection yet myself.
Four years later, my mother was receiving palliative care for Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. When I went to visit, several relatives of mine were very angry as my mother had just gone to sleep, yet was quickly reawakened by what was described to me as careless nursing staff that repeatedly dropped a hospital bed (three times) in the room above hers.
When I reminded them that hospital beds have been on wheels for over 100 years, I was dismissed outright. My mother too, passed away after a few days.
To my horror, all of these situations linked themselves together for me when after my beloved pet dog fell violently ill very quickly one day. I had no car, but phoned and requested a vet ambulance to come get us. As I lay on the floor with her, there were three sharp knocks on my apartment door. I rushed to open it but there was no one present. They arrived approximately 15 minutes later, but my lovely faithful dog passed away in my arms less then an hour later.
Then it all hit me like a shovel. Every instance clearly the same, separated by just years and only recalled when I brought up the knocking occurrence to different people at different times. In fact it made me feel ill and I began searching the web to try and find whether others had experienced the same. My research confirmed that I wasn't going mad but that others too had experienced similar things. But now I dread hearing those knocks on my door ever again! "

An Angel Nun Brings Comfort to Grieving Relatives.
Chris P in America, believes an angel dressed in nun's clothing appeared at his grandmother's hospital bed shortly after she passed away not only bringing comfort to the grieving family but also helping grant his grandmother's last wish.
" My grandmother had been sick for quite awhile and it was only a matter of time before she passed away. The family was taking turns spending nights at the hospital so that she would not be alone when she died. My grandmother was a very devout Catholic who prayed for hours each day. Her last wish was that upon her passing, whomever was there in the room would say the rosary over her body.
One night, the waiting was over and my grandmother passed away in the early hours of the morning. A couple of my aunts, a few of my cousins and I were there when it happened, and remembering my grandmother's wish we joined hands to start praying. There was not one of us who could remember how to say the rosary. We were all rather distressed as we wanted to do this for my grandmother.
Just then, a Catholic nun walked into the room and asked us if there was anything she could do. I asked the sister if she could please join our circle and lead us in saying the rosary for my grandmother. She was more than happy to help us. After the prayers were said, she blessed my grandmother and left the room. I quickly went after her as we did not have a chance to thank us for helping us grant our grandmother's wish. The sister was nowhere to be seen.
My grandmother's room was situated in front of the nurse's station at the end of the hall. I asked the nurses where the sister had gone, and they looked at me strangely. They were quite certain that no one had gone into my grandmother's room. Given the early hour of the morning, it would have been impossible for someone to enter or leave without the nurses noticing. I explained to them what she was wearing and they told me that the nuns in this hospital do wear the "traditional" habit anymore. The nun that helped us did.
After the funeral, I had gone to that specific order of nuns and explained to them what happened. I had never been a religious person and have always questioned the existence of God, but I needed to know what happened. According to the sisters, they had stopped wearing that particular type of habit about 50 years ago.
Who was that sister that helped us out? My family and the other sisters say that she was sent by God to grant my grandmother's last wish. Could it have been an angel, a ghost? All I know is that she looked as real as you or I.

She's Going To Die - A Mother's Terrifying Premonition
From Canada comes the strange tale of Lea Rosier’s terrifying premonition that her daughter was going to die. A month later it almost became a reality!
"Four years ago in Toronto, Canada, when my daughter was 14, I had the oddest experience. I was watching daytime TV while my daughter was in school when all of a sudden I went into what I can only describe as a trance. I repeated aloud these words: "She's going to die. Oh no, she's going to die..." for what seemed like minutes. I then regained my normal breathing and sighed loudly to myself and said, "She's ok. She'll be ok." I snapped out of what was the strangest trance like mood and began watching TV again as if nothing happened.
I was referring to my daughter, having the distinct feeling that she was in danger of dying, but then realizing that she'd be ok.
One month later, I received a call from a relative with whom my daughter was sleeping over at the time. She told me, "Delilah stopped breathing during the night." I called a friend who drove me to the hospital where I was met by a priest. My daughter was on life support, having suffered a reaction to some medication that almost killed her. She remained on a life support machine for a day until she made a full recovery within days.
I feel that I had received a wave of the future of a life-threatening event. I always trust my gut feelings, and have not (thank God) ever experienced anything so awful since."

I Saw My Dead Colleague
Real Life Ghost Story
Special Constable Mark Davies from Wales had an unnerving experience when he saw the ghost of a dead colleague in broad daylight.
Mark writes:
I am a Special Constable at Wrexham. A few years ago, I was fuelling up the 'Rowdy' minibus at the petrol pump outside the police station. It was a clear summer evening.
I saw a reflection of a policeman in the side window of the van. He came and stood behind me with his arms folded. I couldn't see his face because of the angle, which meant he was a fair bit taller than me (I'm 6' tall).
I watched him for 20 or 30 seconds, but he didn't move or speak, so I turned to tell him I was almost finished; there was no-one there. The car park was deserted, and there was nowhere he could have gone to. A couple of months before this, a 6'5" traffic officer based at Wrexham had died in an on-duty motorcycle crash.

Sir Paul Believes Linda's Spirit Lives On
Ex-Beatle and Knight of the Realm Sir Paul McCartney believes that the human spirit lives on after death.
Sir Paul who lost his first wife Linda to breast cancer in 1998, says he’s comforted by the thoughts that her spirit lives on.
He said: “After Linda died, I think all of us in the family would hear noises or see things and think,”That’s Linda; that’s Mum … and I think, in some ways, it’s very comforting to think she’s still there."
Paul said he has been compelled to write poetry since her death, including a poem called ‘Her Spirit', in which Linda’s spirit visits him in the woods, in the form of a white squirrel.
He added: “You don’t know if it’s true, but it’s a great thought. And it’s an uplifting thought. So I allow myself to go there."
He has since published an anthology of poetry entitled 'Blackbird Singing', inspired by experiences ranging from his early Liverpool memories to the loss of Linda

I Met An Angel On A Train
Lou Willcock's true life story shows how her encounter with some kind of supernatural being came at just the right time in her life
"The angel appearing was an enormously powerful experience which got me through the worst of times as well as the challenges and opportunities to come"
Lou writes:
Last December I had been up to London with my best friend Sarah. It was the week before Christmas and we'd been to see The London Community Gospel Choir perform at a little venue in Notting Hill. It had been an uplifting evening with lots of clapping, smiling faces and great music.
This was exactly what I needed; only days before I'd been diagnosed with breast cancer and was still reeling from the shock.
After the concert, Sarah and I made our way back to Paddington station and caught a late train back to Oxford.
We took our seats in what was almost an empty carriage. Within minutes of pulling out of the station, a tall, handsome, and dark stranger approached and asked if he could sit with us. As two lone females we would normally be wary of such requests but in unison we instinctively said 'yes'.
Within seconds the stranger embarked on the most extraordinary of conversations. Without knowing anything about us, he started to tell me that I had a passion for travel (which I do) and that Sarah shared this passion - although should also follow her own dreams.
He told us that our friendship would be a lasting one and that we would always take care of one another. But most significantly, and without knowing anything of my ill health, he told us not to worry about the future and that everything would be alright.
In spite of lots of gentle probing, the stranger avoided answering any of our questions.
He said his name wasn't important and that what he did for a living changed almost on a daily basis. He was actually waiting for instructions about what he'd be doing next.
Before long, the train began to approach Slough and the stranger stood up and asked if he could give us both a hug. Normally we wouldn't, but we found ourselves embracing him with open arms.
As we stopped, he said goodbye and walked to the exit. Sarah and I both went to the window to wave him off but he was no where to be seen.
Somewhere between the train doors and the station platform our stranger had vanished.
We looked at one another and knew that we had just met an Angel.
And we knew everything to come would be fine,

How to Choose The Right Psychic
Many people decide to have a psychic reading when they are desperate for answers to difficult situation in their lives, this unfortunately puts an unrealistic expectation on the psychic and their abilities. What most of people need to be aware of is that psychics are only human, and cannot tell you something just because you want it to be that way.
But it’s little wonder that some may have unrealistic expectations about a psychic reading when you consider all the advertising hype on television and in the newspapers. Many ads announce how having an accurate psychic reading can solve just about any problem you may have in your life. Really!
That doesn't mean a psychic reading can't help. If you're confused or uncertain about which direction to take in life a good psychic reading can be very helpful.
HERE’S A FEW TIPS ON HOW TO GET THE BEST FROM YOUR PSYCHIC READING:
1) Don't ask a psychic to choose the winning lottery numbers for you, because they can't. Do you think they would be offering psychic readings if they could. No, of course not! They'd be on some white sandy beach in the Pacific enjoying a rum and coke! And, of course, it would be a misuse of their psychic gift to do so even if they could.
2) Remember if you are afraid or unwilling to move forward, no amount of psychic help and guidance will help you. It’s necessary to let go of the past to move towards a more positive future.
3) A good psychic will not tell you silly things such as what you had for breakfast yesterday, or what time you went to bed two days ago. How could this possibly be of help to you?
4) Good psychics may use psychic abilities such as clairaudience, clairsentience or clairvoyance when reading for you and many will often use a combination of all three.
5) Good psychic readings should be about self empowerment and personal development. A good psychic will be able to see your possible future, which will allow you to make informed decisions.
6) A good psychic reading should give you insight into how to improve your life, especially when things have been difficult.
7) Psychics are only human and unfortunately don't always know all the answers to your questions, when this situation arises they should be honest and tell you they can't help.
8) A good psychic can only give you psychic guidance on how to solve your problems, you are the one who has to make the final decision.
9) A good psychic will tell you if they forsee any problems in the future, they will not peddle false hope just to keep you happy.
If you're unhappy with the psychic reading tell the psychic you want them to stop, there is no reason for you to sit through a reading that is not working. The psychic should have no problem with refunding your money and may even suggest another reader who will be able to connect to your energy.

Psychic Tarot
The origins of the Tarot are shrouded in mystery and it's impossible to be certain where they first came from. There is no doubt that Tarot cards date back a long way, possibly as far as the 11th century.
The Tarot is closely linked with the modern deck of playing cards which originated in China and Korea. One theory is that these oriental looking cards were transported from the East to Europe, possibly Italy, where the Tarot deck was devised and designed in the 15th century. Other theories are that the Tarot cards orginated in Egypt or India. There are others who believe they just began life with the Romanies.
The Tarot is the most practiced art of psychic prediction in the World and with every good reason. Many people find they can quickly realise and develop an affinity with the symbolic images in the deck. Although Tarot has its origins in Medieval times, the themes and symbols are stilly totally relevant to our modern lives.

Developing Psychic Abilities
Developing Psychic Abilities
I think of psychic ability as I would any other talent or gift. It’s like singing – everyone can do it, it's just that some people are much better at it than others. With this in mind, I also think it’s important that people realise that it’s no more “mysterious” than being able to sing or dance or paint.
When you think about the physical mechanics of taking a musical note and transforming it into beautiful music, it’s awe-inspiring. It's an ability that you have been given and you can choose to develop it or not. Psychic ability is very similar. You start by listening to your inner voice (natural intuition) when it offers you psychic information and then as you learn to trust it ,more and more information will begin to filter through.
Eventually as your innner voice gets stronger it begins to spread to other areas of your life as you develop spirtually.
Where does this intuition come from? I can't really say. I believe that there is some kind of cosmic consciousness that is there to guide and protect us. And it's there for everyone to share but you need to take the time to listen and learn.

How To Read Tarot Cards
Whenever I begin a tarot card reading I’m always amazed with just how complex the Tarot can be.
The multiple layers of information contained within a reading are impressive, to say the least. After working as a psychic reader for over 25 years, I feel that even now I still learn something new with each psychic tarot reading that I do.
There are four essential basics to consider when doing a psychic/tarot reading:
1. The Layout.
There are many types of layouts to choose from before beginning a tarot reading. I prefer the Pyramid Spread because it gives me the opportunity to look into the past, present and future as well as detailed information about the querants personal relationships.
2. The Position of the Cards.
When you are doing a reading you need to be aware of not only the meanings of the tarot cards themselves but also the position a particular card falls in. A single card on it's own has quite a different meaning when it's in the middle of a tarot spread. It’s necessary to consider the other tarot cards which surround it to determine its true meaning.
3. Major and Minor Arcana.
Tarot is divided into 22 Major Arcana cards and 56 Minor arcana cards.
Major arcana cards have a major influence on the interpretation of a psychic/tarot reading. If there are three or more major arcana cards present in a psychic tarot reading , it suggests that there are many outside influences at work. And depending on the position of the major arcana cards in the reading, they can greatly influence the outcome of the reading.
Minor arcana cards fill in the more subtle details of a querant’s life. But, they must also be assessed by the additional influences of their number and suit. So, not only do you have to be aware of the meaning of a particular card, you must also be aware of the meanings associated with their suits and numbers.
4. Aces and Court Cards.
Court cards can be the most difficult and confusing to interpret because they have several different meaning. They may represent an actual person, or a career choice. They can also indicate a time frame and they can refer to a course of action – or they can be interpreted as any or all combinations of the above. And while aces represent new beginnings and opportunities, they can also indicate time frames and refer to the aspects of their suit. Only practice, natural intution and experience can help you arrive at why a court card is there and what is indicates.
So don't give up, all of you who are just beginning to work with the tarot. After a while and with a lot of practice, you really will start to make sense of it all.

Free Psychic Readings
FREE PSYCHIC READINGS
by Linda Preston - Your Psychic Guide
Did you know that 'Free psychic readings', is one of the most searched for phrases on Google?
So it would seem that there are lots of people out there who feel they need a psychic reading and who are hoping that they can get one for free.
I was curious to find out as to exactly what kind of psychic readings were available for free so I did a little research. And, yes, you’ve guessed right nothing worth having!
Many of the large, commercial psychic companies add the phrase to their website to simply attract more visitors . At best they are offering psychic readings which are nothing more than computerised games where you click a tarot card and it delivers a very basic meaning.
Click again and it will give you another meaning and so on. Yep, you could spend half an hour or so clicking away but would it offer you the answers you are seeking or any real psychic guidance? Unlikely!
Others offers a pre-written script which seems to apply to everyone for that particular week or month when you visit
And some psychic phone companies make the generous offer of the first three minutes free as a taster. I doubt very much if there would be even time for the psychic reader to introduce herself and explain what she does in that time. And, then of course, when the three minutes are up you will asked whether you want to continue at the normal £1.53 p.m. I reckon nine out of ten people will say yes, so they’ve got your business deceptively.
We’ve all heard the saying there’s no such thing as a free lunch and this applies to psychic readings too.
A psychic reading is like anything in life you get what you pay for. If you pay very little or nothing then you get very little in return.
If you want a top quality reading from a psychic professional then you must be prepared to pay for her/his time and expertise. Psychics have expenses and a living to earn as well.
When I set my fee structure I’m always very aware that these are hard times for most people so I keep it as reasonable as I can. Affordability shouldn’t be a barrier to receive psychic advice when you need it most.
My psychic readings are, of course, based on you and you only. I use no computer programmes or pre-written scripts. I don't outsource to India or the Phillipines either like many of the commerical psychic companies do. Would you really want a psychic reading by someone who doesn't understand your problem fully as English is not their first language?
I put a great deal of energy into tuning into you and your personal circumstances when I'm preparing your reading so that I can offer you the very best psychic guidance possible. Now that's a psychic reading truly worth having!

Why choose a Psychic Reading
by Linda Preston - Your Psychic Guide
Sometimes people ask me what's the point in having a psychic reading.
Well people seek psychic readings for all kinds of reasons.
Often it’s because they feel confused about their particular situation and need some psychic guidance to find the right way forward. Whether it be a love relationship, a family problem, or difficulties with work, a psychic reading can usually shed some light on the matter.
Others choose a psychic reading because they feel at a cross-roads in their life and would like to explore the idea of other possible futures.
And some because they have a decision to make and would like a psychic point of view about the right choice.
A psychic reading does not take away your free will in any way but allows you to consider other alternatives. As a psychic I always do my best to offer professional guidance but at the end of the day your life is your own and you must follow your heart. But it always helps to have another point of view.

Eastender's Favourite Dot Cotton, and her Friendly Ghost
For many years Eastender's June Brown famous for her Dot Cotton role, and her husband Robert lived in an old house in Folkstone, Kent.
Shortly after moving in it soon became apparent that they were not alone when objects started to move around the house by themselves. At first they put it down to being forgetful but after a while it became quite obvious that a third party was involved! “We quickly realised that we had a very helpful ghost living with us” said June. “She was such a friendly ghost I gave her a name – Alice”. The couple decided to do some research and discovered that a previous occupant of the house was a lady who died and her body hadn’t been found for some time. But what they didn’t realise was that June’s psychic ability was greater than she had originally thought. Previously, June had joked when she called the ghost Alice but when they looked on the deeds to the house, they discovered the name of the lady who had lived there and was now haunting them was, in fact, Alice!

Women Like Reading About Sex
by Linda - Your Psychic Guide
Middle-aged women want to read books about sex more than anything else, new research has found.
A poll of nearly 2,000 women aged between 45 and 60 found that romantic fiction was the most popular genre – chosen by 35% of those surveyed. Nearly two thirds said they liked raunchy scenes in novels, and more than half described sex in books as ‘titillating’.
A further 10% of those questioned on their reading habits said they actively chose books which featured lots of sex scenes. Meanwhile crime and mystery novels got 33% of the vote, and other novels 31%.
Reference books were the least popular. Among these, cookbooks were favourites, according to the survey by a cosmetic comany.
Nearly two thirds of those taking part said that they read at least one book a month, with one in five managing to get through one a week, and one in ten reading two books a week.
At the other end of the scale, 17% read a book only every six months, with 6.5% managing only one a year and 4.6% admitting they hardly ever read books.
Dr Trisha Macnair, a spokeswoman for the company, said: ‘This research shows that reading for pleasure is still an incredibly popular pastime for women. It's great to see most people read at least a book a month, with some getting through two or three books a week.’

Boost your Love Life with A Glass of Love Juice!!
If you feel like you're not getting enough bedroom action, experts have got the answer: drink some fruit juice.
Researchers have discovered that pomegranate is the number one drink to stimulate the libido (aside from a chilled glass of champagne of course!), with cranberry and orange juice following closely behind.
Pomegranate juice even causes couples to kiss more passionately, according to the study carried out by Pomegreat.
It comes as no surprise that the juice had a greater effect on the men's sexual appetite than the women's, causing the men to feel increasingly frisky after a good glug of the drink.
'We had anticipated that the pomegranate might produce a different effect on mind and body to the other two juices since its health benefits are widely known and have been intensively studied,' says Duncan Smith, head of the research team.
'What we wanted to find out was whether pomegranate was equally effective in stimulating the libido – in other words in getting the love juices flowing. Our findings clearly show that they most definitely do, especially for men, and that their effect is far greater than we expected.'
Not only could a swig of Pomegranate spice of your love life, it is bursting with antioxidants, which reduce the risk of heart disease and even prevent dental plaque – truly a superfood!
