Cosmic Cashpoint
A really stimulating way to work on increasing your wealth is to create a prosperity book.
Use a blank notebook and regularly paste in pictures and tear sheets from magazines which remind you of wealth and abundance. You can even cut out a cashpoint photo and put this in your book too to help focus your mind on what you want the Universe to send you. Add lots of affirmations, mantras, spell tips and visualizations to build up a resource of positive financial energy. Look at this book every single day to draw wealth to you, especially when you find yourself worrying about money.
Repeat the mantra:
'I live each day in abundance'
Do this every morning while looking into the mirror.

Bewitching ingredient
Acorns pack a powerful magical punch because they're the fruit of the majestic oak-tree. In folklore, they were connected to long life and fertility. Plant an acorn on a night when the moon is growing bigger, or keep one in your wallet, and you'll draw more money into your life. Place an acorn on a windowsill to guard you home against intruders.

Top 5 celebrity ghost sightings
It didn't take long after Michael Jackson's death in 2009 for the sightings of his ghost to start up. But of course, Jacko is far from the first superstar to carry on making public appearances after they died. Below, we present five of the most over-active celebrities, who haven't let a little thing like death get in the way of their lifestyles.
Kurt Cobain's untimely death in 1994, when he shot himself in the head, traumatised a generation - but he hasn't gone away for good. In August 2000, a 24-year-old bar manager from Essex reported that Cobain was haunting her Compaq Presario laptop, and that he'd pleaded for help before demanding that she give him a kiss. The computer stopped working after she kissed it, The Register reported, and Kurt has not been heard from since.
Orson Welles, the legendary actor and director who started his career by making one of the greatest film ever in Citizen Kane, and ended it by doing a voice-over for Transformers: The Movie, is reported to still sit at his favourite table in his favourite Los Angeles restaurant, enjoying the fine food, drinking brandy and smoking cigars. Sadly for the shade of Welles, the restaurant - the famed Ma Maison - shut down in 1985, and is now a completely different restaurant.
John Lennon has been good about keeping in touch with people since he was fatally shot in 1980 - with his son Julian claiming he visited him in the form of a white feather, Paul McCartney saying that his spirit was present the recording sessions for 'Free As A Bird' in the form of a white peacock, and Liam Gallagher claiming that he met Lennon's ghost while lying on a bed at a mate's house in Manchester. Oddly, at no point during any of these visitations did Lennon tell those involved to stop recording rubbish music.
Marilyn Monroe has been busy following her not-especially mysterious death from a barbiturate overdose in the 1960s. She currently haunts a full-length mirror at the lobby of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, occasionally nipping off to be seen dancing around the ballroom in spectral form (it's not known if she ever meets up with the ghost of Montgomery Clift, who haunts room 928). She also hangs around the house where she died, as well as finding time to lurk around her grave.
Elvis Presley is probably the most overworked celebrity ghost around, given that he basically haunts everywhere, from the site of the old RCA studios in Nashville to your local chip shop. Naturally, though, his favoured haunting ground is his old home, Graceland - where, naturally, people have reported seeing his ghost marrying Marilyn Monroe's ghost.
He's also said to have haunted the site of a home in Bel Air that he rented - although the building was demolished two decades ago. We're sure that once you watch the following incredibly clear video evidence, you'll be in no doubt that the spirit of Elvis still shakes his hips and eats ectoplasm cheeseburgers from beyond the veil.

Why do I dream of being in a haunted house?
Ghosts, spirits or demons are usually thought to represent repressed parts of our unconscious that we would prefer to keep buried. If like many people you have this dream on several occasions it would indicate that these ghosts really need to be listened to - otherwise they may keep haunting you.
Some psychologists suggest that unconscious feelings behind this type of dream are likely to be something that you deem to be a less positive experience or less appealing emotion, like anger, shame or envy. Other interpreters have a more positive spin on ghost dreams - and suggest that spirits can represent positive and creative powers that lie within the dreamer, but need to be harnessed.
In your dream it might be worth taking these dream ghosts on instead of running or hiding from them and facing up to what they represent. Then you will know what you are dealing with and should be able to make progress in working with them, so that they will become less frightening and may be able to give you more strength.

Tea Omens
There are many superstitions and omens surrounding tea drinking even including the prediction of marriage. Here's a few:
It's unlucky to stir tea with anything but a spoon and to stir someone else's tea with a spoon is said to stir trouble for them.
If the tea you make is unexpectedly weak, it means a friendship is weakening. If it's unusually strong, a friendship is growing stronger.
If you spill tea while making a pot, it forecasts luck for the woman of the house.
To break a teapot is thought to be an omen of losing a loved one.
To inadvertently place two spoons in a cup of tea is a sign of marriage for the person drinking the tea.

Crystals for pet allergies
Many people have severe physical allergies to pets - often their fur or mites - and whilst crystals can help improve this condition they will not cure it so it's important to still use conventional medicine too.
A combination of larvikit, turquoise and aquamarine has been found to be helpful. Be sure to cleanse them regularly and keep all three near you, or wear them as jewellery. Also beneficial are topaz, petrified wood and zircon.
All are equally excellent at reducing symptoms.

Ghosts - Sometimes there really is no one there!
There's a common misconception held about some ghostly encounters. Some people feel they are being haunted after having experienced a dark presence in their bedroom, followed by a scary feeling of being held down, touched or shaken. Sometimes they can even feel totally paralysed.
Of course, this is disturbing but the truth is in the majority of cases this has nothing at all to do with the presence of a malevolent spirit.
They are, in fact, experiencing, a well-recognised sleep disorder called 'sleep paralysis' or 'night terrors. This usually occurs when you're somewhere in between being asleep and awake, and it's during these times that our brains begins to play tricks on us. Most people never experience this unpleasant phenomenon, while other might occasionally suffer from it. A few people will, unfortunately, experience it on a very regular basis
But before you go running off to a local exorcist to clear your home of an evil spirit that you sense when you're dropping off to sleep at night, it might be more sensible to first speak with your GP about it.
There's more than likely to be a very non-supernatural reason for what you are experiencing unpleasant as it!

Buddha Buddies
Placing a statue of Buddha in your home or garden is said to bring peace, harmony and good luck and prosperity. What's more you don't have to become a Buddhist in order to benefit from its powers. Statues come in all shapes and sizes and different positions. These are just a few:
The laughing Buddha
One of the most popular Buddhas, usually shown with a big smile and a fat belly, this laughing statue is said to bring good fortune.
He's also known as Ho Tai or Pu-Tai and in China as The Friendly One. He represents a Chinese monk from over 1,000 years ago, who was said to be an incarnation of Buddha. He's usually seen carrying a small cloth sack, to represent abundance and plenty. Tradition dictates that you should rub his tummy once a day - to ensure that you never go hungry. He judges no one and is also known as the patron of sick children. Put him in a place of importance in the living room or on your work desk to reap maximum benefits.
The standing Buddha
This statue is often shown in different positions. Standing with one palm held up and the other down, means that the Buddha will bring courage and stop arguments.
If his hands are crossed over his stomach, he'll boost your confidence and can be a focus for meditation. He governs Sundays. The standing Buddha with his hands across his chest will bring contemplation and joy. He governs Friday. If he carries a bowl of fruit, he'll ensure that you never go hungry.
The Lotus Buddha
The Buddha that sits in a lotus postion usually has both of his hands resting in front of him, facing upwards, and this is one of the most common positions of a Buddha statue.
This position represents the growing mind and is one of the best Buddhas for meditation.

Grumpy Ghosts
The Lost Gardens of Heligan are beautiful 19th-century gardens in Cornwall, that were cleared, primped up and reopened in 1992, having been overgrown for almost a century.
But it seems that the ghosts of Heligan, perhaps the family who once lived on the estate, don't appreciate their sanctum being woken from its sleep.
A few areas of the garden are reported to have an uneasy air about them. Gardeners are said to be too frightened to work alone in the kitchen garden and the rockery. Several exorcisms have taken place, but a few grumpy ghosts refuse to budge and continue to make their ghostly presence felt!

How To Predict The Future With Your Dreams
You can practice predicting the future in your dreams by training your psychic powers with the following exercise.
First, choose a person to dream about. To start practicing this skill it’s probably best to pick a celebrity who you find interesting, rather than someone you’re close to emotionally.
While sitting in bed, cut out a picture of that person from a magazine, then look at it as you lie down in bed preparing to go to sleep. Write down their name in a notepad, along with this message to your subconscious: “Tell me about this person’s future.” As you drift off, try to remain in a state of awareness - one between wakefulness and sleep - letting yourself think in pictures rather than words.
Now visualise a page from a newspaper. See a headline appearing, telling you something about your chosen celebrity. Pull yourself back from the brink of sleep and write down your impressions. Hopefully, an accurate prediction will be woven into your notes. Keep doing this with different celebrities to see if you can develop your psychic dream skills.
You can use prophetic dreaming for specific predictions about your life i.e. if you want to visualise a future lover. To try this place a piece of rose quartz under your pillow and visualise your love (or the ideal qualities you’re looking for in a partner) before going to sleep - and they should appear in your dreams,’
Practice the exercise on a night when you’re not too tired and haven’t eaten or drunk too much. Make sure you have time to concentrate before you go to bed and don’t have to get up too early, as you will be disturbing your sleep by writing whatever you receive, even if it’s in the middle of the night.
Totally immerse yourself in whatever you are looking for guidance with before you go to bed. For example, if you want to know why you argue a lot with your partner, think about how you felt before, during and after your rows, and how your partner must feel as well. Repeat your question like a mantra before you go to sleep. And don’t forget to write it down as soon as you wake up as dreams evaporate very quickly once we start our day.

The Egyptian Book of the Dead
The Egyptian Book of the Dead
This might not sound like a bestseller to us, but to the Ancient Egyptians it was an essential read!
It may seem morbid to place such importance on the dead, but with hundreds of gods waiting on the other side, the Egyptians believed in securing a soul’s path to the next life.
They did this by anointing the dead, and burying them with charms and seals. Text from the book would be carved on the sarcophagus, and in later years, written on papyrus. It was important the book was close at hand, so that the dead soul could refer to it during their journey to the underworld.
The book itself contained spells, charms and passwords which make the transaction run smoothly.

Feng Shui Tips - Dragon's Den
As powerful symbols of yang, or male energy, dragons are thought to be particularly auspicious in Chinese cultures, so why not try placing one in your home to see if your fortune improves?
Dragons work well in almost any area of your home, although avoid low-energy areas such as the bathroom and garage. Also avoid having more than five in total.
- Avoid placing the dragon too high up, no higher than eye level or its influence will wan.
- A pearl, crystal, or other sphere in the dragon’s claw symbolises wealth, power and an abundance of opportunities.
- A green dragon is an excellent cure for the east – the health area of your home, while a golden dragon can bring in wealth and abundance.
- If you place a dragon in the love and relationships area (the southwest corner of your room or home), it’s advised to pair it with a phoenix – a mythical firebird - as both together are the ultimate feng shui symbols of martial bliss

Pyramid Power
No one can deny the startling beauty of the pyramids. Amazing works of art, they evoke powerful feelings and also some interesting theories as to how they were created.
The Egyptians used them as tombs for their pharaohs and queens. They were built at an angle to the Sun to incorporate its powers.
Some believe that they were triangular in shape so the spirits of the dead could climb easily to the stars and on to the next life. The point and the way the pyramid stretches outwards at the base is also linked to the rays of the Sun.

Do Your Loved Ones In Spirit Contact You In Your Dreams?
When our loved ones in spirit want to contact us they may offer many signs of their presence. But as we all lead such busy lives we may be unaware of their efforts to reach out to us. So often they will contact us directly in our dreams.
You may have already have had a dream in which a loved one in spirit spoke to you. Do you recall the experience in great detail? Did it feel as if your loved one was actually there besides you? If so the chances are it was so much more than a dream.
Dreams such as this can occur at times when we are struggling with our grief at their loss, or if we are experiencing stress in our lives and wishing that they were still around to help and advise us. So in response to our great need loved ones may contact us directly. This is often referred to as “spontaneous afterlife communication”.
Dream visitations such as this are extremely common and if you question friends you will probably find many have had a similar experience.
There are several reasons why loved ones may contact us, such as: -
* It could be thet just want to reassure us that they are safe and well on the other side and don't want us to worry about them anymore.
* They are concerned about another family member (often a remaining spouse) and they would like us to pay special attention to this person's needs.
*They may also wish to pass a message to you. There could be something unsettled between you when they passed into spirit and they want to set the record straight.
So how do they break down the barrier to communication in our sleep?
It could be that when we sleep we are in an altered state of consciousness and this makes us more open to communication from other worlds.
As this state exists when we are daydreaming or meditating then we could also receive a visit at these times too.
So how can you tell the difference between a normal dream and a genuine visitation?
First of all it would feel nothing at all like a normal dream. It would be very real and once the dream had faded this feeling would remain long after you wake up.
In the dream you would be fully aware that your loved one is no longer alive. During normal dreams we often think the person is still alive, until we wake up.
Often in these kinds of dreams other family members in spirit will appear as well, as if to confirm to you that everyone is reunited and caring for each other.
At the end of the dream your loved one would probably touch or hug you.
During the time you spent together you may also visit places that would be familiar to both of you, such as your old family home.
Many people report a feeling of peace after such dreams knowing that their loved ones are always there for them and that they can still see them from time to time in their dreams.
Having had such a magical moment together it should make it easier to cope and carry on living your life to the full just as they would have wanted you to.

Seven Signs That Your Home Is Haunted
It would seem that almost everyone you talk to has seen a ghost at sometime in their life.
Whether it’s full on face to face ghostly contact or just something black and shadowy glimpsed from the corner of the eye.
Ghosts are definitely a lot more common than you might think!
So what exactly are the tell tales signs that your own home is haunted?
1. Have you heard unexplained noises? The most commonly reported sounds in haunted homes are knocking, raps, footsteps, disembodied voices, bells ringing or children crying. Some think these are psychic echoes or attempts by the ghost/s in residence to grab your attention or that they are a replay of a scene that has taken place in the past.
2. Do objects move around of their own accord? Could you swear that you left a personal effect in a particular place and now it's gone? It's thought that some ghosts have a sense and humour and enjoy a joke at your expense. If this is something that happens on a regular basis it may not be your bad memory or someone else in the family moving it could very well be a spirit.
3. Do you ever smell unusual or unexplained fragrances? Sometimes the odours can be quite unpleasant other times it’s almost as if an elegant lady wearing a beautiful floral perfume has wafted by. The spectral scent may linger as a supernatural reminder of a resident who lived there long ago.
4. Do animals behave strangely in any area of your home? Cats and dogs are well known for having a heightened perception of the spirit world. They could be seeing what you are not and reacting accordingly.
5. Is there a room in your home that always feels cold even if outside temperatures are soaring? Or is there a room where you never feel quite comfortable - as if you are being watched? Try investigating the history of your home; enquire from elderly neighbours - perhaps something unpleasant has happened there in the past.
6. Do you feel as you are not alone in your home, even though there is no one else home?
7. Have lights been seen in rooms that are unoccupied? If so, they could very well be occupied by a ghostly entity!
Many noises, electrical faults and cold spots can easily be traced to natural causes. But in many cases they cannot. You may arrive at the conclusion that you have a long term ghostly guest who you wish to take steps to remove (if troublesome) or alternatively decide learn to live in harmony together.
Remember, as the saying goes you have more to fear from the living than the dead!

Haunted Hollywood - Actress Sharon Tate Saw Her Own Ghost!
Many Hollywood celebrities claim that they have seen ghosts and that their own homes are haunted!
Ghostbuster actor, Dan Ackroyd admits to being unnerved by spooky goings-on in his home which had previously been owned by Mama Cass Elliot, one time member of the 60's cult group Mamas and Papas.
He said: 'A ghost certainly haunts my house. It once even crawled into bed with me. I rolled over and just nuzzled up to whatever it was and went back to sleep". The ghost also uses his home gym equipment and moves jewellery across the dresser. Dan added: " I'm sure it's Mama Cass because you get the feeling it's a big ghost'.
Heartthrob actor Hugh Grant is said to have heard the ghost of legendry actress Bette Davis sobbing as it moves through the luxury apartments of the Los Angeles Colonial Building where she used to live.
The late comedy actress Lucille Ball is also said to haunt her old home at North Roxbury Drive in Hollywood. It's said that windows have been mysteriously broken, furniture moved of its own accord and shouting has been traced to the attic rooms.
But the most disturbing of all Hollywood haunting tales has to be that of the beautiful 60's actress, the late Sharon Tate. In August of 1969, the 26-year-old was brutally murdered by the so called 'Manson-family' . Shortly before her death Sharon confided in friends that she had seen her own ghost!
That hot summer the heavily pregnant young actress was staying at a luxury rented mansion in Hollywood, whilst her film producer husband Roman Polanskii was away in Europe. It was there she had the unnerving experience of seeing two ghosts! It occurred one evening as she was resting in her bedroom and she saw the ghost of what she described as a 'creepy little man'
She recognized him immediately as the former owner of the house, Paul Burn, a theatrical agent who had shot himself in an upstairs bathroom following the break-up of his marriage to 1930s actress, Jean Harlow. Terrified she fled screaming from the bedroom, only to be immediately confronted by her own ghost at the foot of the stairs. She described seeing the spirit of a woman who was tied to a pillar with her throat cut.
Strangely she had glimpsed her own horrific fate at the hands of her killers. She was found in exactly this position following the attack by the Manson gang.
If she had acted upon her amazing foresight - her name would not be sadly forever linked with the terrible events that happened in the property shortly afterwards when Sharon and four friends were stabbed and shot to death.

Seances
A serious meeting of people interested in psychic occurrences at which a psychic will try to bring through spiritual energies.
Séances usually involve from 3 to 10 people.
Usually the psychic who is leading the séance will slip into a trance or a conscious level where he or she is able to communicate with a spirit, guardian angel or other entity.
The psychic may communicate silently with this spiritual entity or use his or her body as a channel for information.
In the case of channelled information, often the psychic does not remember what's happened afterwards.
In some séances, those taking part will sit in a circle and hold hands, although this isn't necessary. Most psychics who are involved in séances insist that those in attendance must take the same chair week after week.
There is often a prayer given or a period of meditation before the meeting begins and sometimes another such period at the end of the session. No one is allowed to leave the room during the séance because that would disrupt the spiritual communication.
Sometimes there is a religious lesson or knowledge that comes through from the spirit world, but this isn't always the case.
Meetings usually last from one to three hours and are held on a regular basis in a places where those in attendance feel comfortable.
Psychics say for good results it’s essential that there’s harmony between those who are sitters at the séance.
Some sitters are thought to be used much like batteries; their energy is used by the spirits called forth to the séance.
Psychics and sitters often report feeling the touch of an entity against their arms or cheeks.
For many this proves that the spirits are present in the room with those taking part. These are called séance hands. Other psychic phenomenon that may happen is ‘séance lights’- small, glowing circles of light. These are said to be entities who wish to attend the séance. They are thought to be guides are guardians of those in attendance; others may be disincarnate spirits.
During the mid 1800s to the early 1900s, spiritualism and the study of metaphysics were beginning to blossom.
But it was also a period plagued with frauds and schemes involving parapsychology. Often those who had recently lost a family member paid huge amounts to talk with their loved ones.
The “spiritualist” or “psychic” tricked the innocent out of money conning the unsuspecting with a host of deceptions.
But as the process of holding séances evolved the frauds were gradually pushed out as the practice of holding hands became popular in order to keep the fraudulent psychic from performing any sleight-of-hand mischief. The psychic might also have his or her hand and legs tied to the chair to avoid the possibility of a hoax.
Today, the word séance has been replaced with phrases such as spiritual gathering, spiritual evening, circle of friends, etc.

What is Spiritualism?
The belief that spirits of the dead can communicate with the living.
Spiritualism is the belief that there is life after physical death and there is the possibility of speaking with the spirits who exist in the non-physical plane.
This communication can be on a personal level, often through meditation, or with the assistance of a psychic.
The information is channelled through the psychic or through other means such as clairvoyance or automatic writing.
The word spiritualist is an outdated name for a psychic, although it’s sometimes still used.
