Island of Lost Souls
Our world is full of places with the wow factor, but some are more magical than others.
Once such place is often referred to as the sacred Island of Annwyn, also known as the Island of Lundy which is located off the coast of North Devon.
Renowned for its natural beauty, the Celts believed that the tiny granite island was the passageway to Avalon, the magical island mentioned in Arthurian legends, and the Welsh too also had a soft spot for it. It's in their epic Mabinogion (collection of mythological stories and legends), and they believed it to be a place where lost souls go. Today, it's home to onaly a few cotages, but people still visit to see if they can catch a glimpse of the magical gateway to Avalon.
