Pyramid Power

 

No one can deny the startling beauty of the pyramids. Amazing works of art, they evoke powerful feelings and also some interesting theories as to how they were created.

The Egyptians used them as tombs for their pharaohs and queens. They were built at an angle to the Sun to incorporate its powers.

Some believe that they were triangular in shape so the spirits of the dead could climb easily to the stars and on to the next life.  The point and the way the pyramid stretches outwards at the base is also linked to the rays of the Sun.
